Summary: As a Press Operator, you will be responsible for preparing components for the molding process, operating a molding press on our epoxy molding production line, and ensuring the highest level of quality in all parts produced.
Essential Functions
Maintain accurate production paperwork (work orders)
Enter information into the computer system
Prepare components for the molding process
Inspect components prior to molding
Load multiple components into the mold
Start and monitor the molding cycle
Unload parts from the mold upon completion
Inspect, de-flash, and patch molded parts
Pack and label completed parts
Perform all other duties as assigned
Requirements
Prior production experience is a plus
Basic computer skills required
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. multiple times a day
Ability to stand for the majority of the shift
Proficiency in operating small handheld tools
Ability to visually inspect machined parts and gauge them using various handheld gauges
Capability to perform manual work in a non-climate-controlled factory setting
Availability for overtime hours, including mandatory Saturday shifts
Must be at least 18 years old
Shift Details
1st Shift is M-TH, 4X10 hour shifts, 6:30a-5:00p.
All employees are expected to work overtime hours as needed.
Overtime is typically twice a month on Fridays and are 8-hour shifts.
