The Press Operator sets up and runs flexographic presses to produce quality products meeting customer and production standards, monitoring ink colors and substrate cutting.
Essential duties include setting up ink, tooling, and dies, replacing rolls, adjusting press settings, verifying materials, and maintaining quality through inspections.
They perform routine maintenance, clean equipment, document work, and ensure safety compliance.
Requires a high school diploma or GED; flexographic press experience and manufacturing machine operation skills preferred.
Key skills include good communication, basic math, computer proficiency, attention to detail, and mechanical aptitude.
Physical demands involve standing, lifting up to 50 pounds, and working around noisy, moving machinery. The shift is Monday-Friday, 2:45 pm–11:15 pm.
