Pay Rate: $18.00/hour

We are currently seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Press Operator to join a growing manufacturing team in the Albany area. This is a hands-on role within a fast-paced production environment, ideal for individuals with strong mechanical aptitude and a commitment to quality.

Schedule:

• Probationary schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
• Upon full-time hire: 5:00 AM – 5:00 PM, Monday–Thursday or Tuesday–Friday
• Potential for transition to a later shift based on business needs

Key Responsibilities:

• Read and interpret job orders to ensure accurate production setup
• Set up, operate, and maintain press equipment to meet production and quality standards
• Monitor film production throughout the process to ensure consistency and quality
• Inspect image registration, alignment, and color accuracy
• Perform routine minor maintenance and basic troubleshooting on equipment
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
• Collaborate with Quality Assurance to ensure consistent output and adherence to standards

Qualifications:

• Ability to read a ruler or tape measure accurately
• Strong attention to detail and mechanical aptitude
• Basic computer skills (Excel preferred)
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Dependable attendance and punctuality are essential
• Team-oriented mindset with strong communication skills
• Willingness to work overtime as needed (regular workweeks may average ~46 hours)
