Now hiring for a Press Operator

Location: Blue Ash, OH

$18.00 per hour

Schedule:

1st Shift: Monday-Friday, 6:00 AM-2:00 PM

2nd Shift: Monday-Thursday, 2:00 PM-10:00 PM

Education Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • Previous manufacturing or production training is beneficial.

Experience Requirements

  • Prior manufacturing experience preferred
  • Mechanically inclined with the ability to learn molding processes
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment
  • Strong attention to detail and quality standards

Job Duties

  • Load rubber materials and pre-forms into mold cavities
  • Set up and adjust press temperatures, timers, and pressure settings
  • Operate compression, transfer, or injection molding presses
  • Monitor cure times, temperatures, and production quality
  • Safely remove molded rubber products from presses
  • Inspect finished parts for defects and dimensional accuracy
  • Use basic measuring tools to verify product specifications
  • Trim excess flash from molded components
  • Perform routine daily maintenance on molding equipment
  • Follow all safety and quality procedures

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous manufacturing, assembly, production, warehouse, or industrial experience is preferred.
  • Experience operating production equipment, performing quality inspections, or meeting production goals is beneficial.
  • Knowledge of Lean manufacturing, continuous improvement practices, or workplace safety procedures is considered an asset.
  • Individuals who demonstrate reliability, adaptability, teamwork, and a strong work ethic are well positioned for success as a Press Operator.

Physical Capabilities

  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform repetitive production tasks throughout the shift.
  • Ability to lift materials, components, or finished products weighing up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to safely operate around production equipment and moving machinery.
  • Ability to maintain productivity while working in fast-paced manufacturing environments.

What You Will Do

As a Press Operator you will support daily manufacturing operations by assembling products, operating production equipment, inspecting finished goods, packaging materials, maintaining production standards, and following established work instructions. You will help keep production areas clean and organized, monitor product quality, meet production goals, and contribute to safe, efficient manufacturing operations.

The Press Operator plays an important role in manufacturing by supporting production processes that transform raw materials into finished products. This position requires attention to detail, dependability, and the ability to work efficiently in fast-paced production environments.

Successful Press Operator candidates understand manufacturing procedures, workplace safety, production quality, and teamwork while supporting efficient daily operations. Consistent performance contributes directly to operational success.
