Press Operator:We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Press Operator to join our team in Brunswick, OH. This position involves setting up and operating Flexographic printing equipment to deliver top-notch labels that meet customer specifications. You will be responsible for routine quality checks, maintaining a clean work environment, and ensuring smooth, efficient production. Hours:
- 1st shift: Wed/Thurs/Fri 5am- 5:15pm
- 3rd shift: M/T/W and every other Thu 5pm-5:15am 3rd shift will have to train on 1st shift for 4-6 weeks
Pay:- $19.50 an hour both 1st and 3rd
Key Responsibilities:- Operate press and run print jobs.
- Set up press to run print job.
- Read, understand and follow production work orders.
- Utilize daily dispatch prioritizing production order due dates.
- Produce label products while maintaining efficient operation of equipment and standards.
- Accurately report production numbers daily.
- Conduct quality checks of finished product.
- Troubleshoot production errors using the root cause analysis process.
- Maintain a clean and safe work area; sweeping floors and emptying trash as needed.
- Check equipment for calibration and alert supervisors and management if equipment is out of calibration.
Minimum Qualifications:- Machining or related work experience.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand on feet for shift.
- Mechanically inclined.
- Ability to learn and train.
- Attention to detail.
- Good basic math and measurement skills.
