Press Operator
We are seeking a Press Operator for one of our clients in Brunswick, OH.
In this position you will be responsible for setting up and operating Flexographic printing equipment to produce high-quality labels that meet customer specifications. This role requires mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and the ability to perform routine quality checks while maintaining a clean and efficient work environment.
Hours:
3rd shift: M/T/W and every other Thu 5pm-5:15am
3rd shift will have to train on 1st shift for 4-6 weeks
Pay:
$19.50 an hour
Key Responsibilities:
Operate press and run print jobs.
Set up press to run print job.
Read, understand and follow production work orders.
Utilize daily dispatch prioritizing production order due dates.
Produce label products while maintaining efficient operation of equipment and standards.
Accurately report production numbers daily.
Conduct quality checks of finished product.
Troubleshoot production errors using the root cause analysis process.
Maintain a clean and safe work area; sweeping floors and emptying trash as needed.
Check equipment for calibration and alert supervisors and management if equipment is out of calibration.
Minimum Qualifications:
Machining or related work experience.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand on feet for shift.
Mechanically inclined.
Ability to learn and train.
Attention to detail.
Good basic math and measurement skills.
