    Description

    Press Operator

    Minimum 1 year of manufacturing or machine operation experience preferred

    Venteon is currently seeking Press Operators to fill multiple openings with a leading aerospace manufacturer located near Cincinnati, OH. These positions are available on 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shift. The ideal candidates will have experience in manufacturing, assembly, or machine operation and enjoy working in a fast-paced, team-oriented production environment.

    Requirements of the Press Operator

    • High School Diploma or equivalent

    • U.S. Citizen or Green Card Holder

    • Previous manufacturing, machine operation, assembly, or fabrication experience preferred

    • Experience using pneumatic and hand tools

    • Ability to read and follow manufacturing work instructions and process documentation

    • Experience using precision measuring equipment such as calipers, micrometers, and thickness gauges preferred

    • Basic computer skills

    • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality

    • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

    • Strong communication and teamwork skills

    • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced manufacturing environment

    • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds

    • Comfortable working in a warm production environment

    • Flexible schedule to support training as needed

    Responsibilities of the Press Operator

    • Clean, prepare, and release molds and tooling according to manufacturing specifications

    • Gather required materials and maintain accurate production documentation throughout the manufacturing process

    • Operate manual and programmable presses to manufacture aerospace components

    • Assemble, maintain, and perform minor maintenance on production equipment

    • Utilize pneumatic and hand tools including grinders, sanders, drills, and files

    • Perform visual inspections and dimensional verification using calipers, micrometers, thickness gauges, pyrometers, scales, and other measuring equipment

    • Verify finished products meet quality and engineering specifications

    • Perform routine 6S housekeeping and maintain a clean, organized work area

    • Complete minor equipment maintenance including filter replacement and oil level checks

    • Follow all quality, safety, and production procedures while meeting daily manufacturing goals
