One of our manufacturing clients is seeking a skilled and reliable Press Operator to support production operations at their facility in Cleveland, OH.
Responsibilities:
Set up and operate stamping press machines according to production requirements
Perform die changes, machine setups, and adjustments to maintain quality and efficiency
Monitor press operations and inspect parts using calipers, gauges, and micrometers
Troubleshoot minor equipment and tooling issues during production
Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and setup instructions
Maintain production records and perform basic preventive maintenance
Follow safety procedures and keep work areas clean and organized
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED required
2+ years of experience operating and setting up stamping presses in a manufacturing environment
Experience with hydraulic, pneumatic, or mechanical presses
Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
Ability to read blueprints and use precision measuring tools
Metal stamping or fabrication experience preferred
Familiarity with lean manufacturing practices preferred
