Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Molding & Press Operations (Primary Responsibilities)

• Assist with operation and monitoring of injection molding or plastics processing equipment.
• Support Mold Technicians with mold changes, startup activities, and production changeovers.
• Perform basic machine cleaning and housekeeping around presses and work areas.
• Monitor production for quality, efficiency, and material flow.
• Remove, inspect, package, and label molded parts according to work instructions.
• Identify and report machine issues, quality concerns, or production interruptions.
• Complete required production, quality, and downtime documentation.
• Follow standard operating procedures, work instructions, and safety requirements.
• Maintain organized and clean workstations using 5S principles.

Shipping Support (As Needed)

• Assist with packaging, labeling, and preparing shipments.
• Move finished goods and materials using approved material handling equipment.
• Verify product quantities and packaging requirements.
• Maintain inventory accuracy and organized storage areas.
• Support loading and unloading activities when required.

Clean Room Support (As Needed)

• Follow all clean room gowning and contamination-control procedures.
• Package and inspect products in accordance with clean room requirements.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of controlled environments.
• Handle products carefully to prevent contamination or damage.
• Adhere to all customer and regulatory requirements associated with clean room production.

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to read and follow written work instructions.
• Basic math and measurement skills.
• Ability to work safely in a manufacturing environment.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous manufacturing, warehouse, or production experience.
• Experience working with plastics manufacturing equipment.
• Forklift certification or willingness to become certified.
• Mechanical aptitude and interest in learning mold and machine operations.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds occasionally.
• Ability to bend, twist, reach, push, and pull throughout the shift.
• Ability to work in varying manufacturing environments, including clean room areas.
• Ability to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).
