The Lombardi Press Operator is responsible for setting up, operating, monitoring, and maintaining Lombardi flexographic printing equipment to produce high-quality printed products according to customer specifications and production requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
\n
\n
Set up and operate Lombardi flexographic printing presses.
\n
Review job tickets, artwork, specifications, and production requirements before starting each job.
\n
Install printing plates, anilox rolls, doctor blades, inks, substrates, and tooling as required.
\n
Set web tension, registration, impression, ink density, and other press parameters.
\n
Perform press make-ready and minimize setup time and material waste.
\n
Maintain accurate color and print registration throughout production runs.
\n
Inspect finished product for defects such as color variation, misregistration, dirty print, streaking, or other quality issues.
\n
Make press adjustments during production to maintain quality and productivity.
\n
Perform roll changes, splicing, and material handling.
\n
Operate inline equipment when applicable, including die-cutting, cold foil, hot foil, lamination, varnishing/coating, and UV curing systems.
\n
Complete required production, quality, material usage, and waste documentation.
\n
Troubleshoot printing and mechanical problems and communicate larger maintenance issues to the appropriate personnel.
\n
Clean printing units, anilox rolls, plates, ink systems, and other press components.
\n
Perform routine preventive maintenance and maintain a clean, organized work area.
\n
Follow company safety procedures, quality standards, and production schedules.

Qualifications:
\n
\n
Previous flexographic or narrow-web press experience is preferred, particularly experience with Lombardi presses.
\n
Understanding of flexographic printing, color control, registration, web handling, die-cutting, and basic press troubleshooting.
\n
Ability to use measuring and quality-control equipment
\n
Ability to read job specifications
\n
Ability to lift 50lbs
