Job Description
- Operate press machines to form, shape, and cut fiberglass materials according to work orders and specifications.
- Set up and adjust press equipment as needed to ensure accurate production.
- Perform quality checks on finished parts to ensure they meet specifications and complete required documentation.
- Load and unload fiberglass materials safely and efficiently.
- Monitor machine operation and make minor adjustments to maintain product quality and production flow.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area.
- Report any safety, quality, or equipment issues to the supervisor immediately.
- Follow all safety procedures and company policies while operating machinery.
- Assist with packaging and preparing finished goods for shipment as needed.
- Other duties as assigned.
Other Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 60 pounds periodically.
- Previous press operator or manufacturing experience preferred.
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
- Comfortable with repetitive and non-repetitive tasks.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Exhibits a respectful, reliable, and team-oriented attitude.
