Location: Greenville, MI Shift: 1st Shift Pay: $15.74 per hour
Job Summary
Are you looking for an opportunity to start or grow your career in manufacturing? We're seeking a Press Operator to join our team in Greenville, MI. In this role, you'll operate and monitor stamping press equipment to produce quality aluminum parts while maintaining production standards and meeting delivery deadlines.
What You'll Be Doing
As a Press Operator, your core responsibilities will include:
- Press Operation: Operate and monitor stamping press equipment according to production specifications to produce quality aluminum parts.
- Quality Inspection: Inspect finished parts using measuring tools such as calipers to ensure they meet quality standards.
- Production Support: Maintain an efficient workflow to meet production and delivery deadlines while following instructions from team leaders.
In addition, you will accurately complete production and quality paperwork, follow all safety protocols, maintain a clean and organized work area, and communicate any production or quality issues to supervisors.
What We're Looking For
Qualifications:
- Previous manufacturing or production experience preferred.
- Experience operating stamping press equipment is a plus.
- Ability to use measuring tools such as calipers.
- Ability to accurately complete production and quality documentation.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced production environment.
Skills:
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to follow instructions and production specifications.
- Good organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
