Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Press Brake Operator to join a growing manufacturing team in Joplin, MO. This role is responsible for setting up and operating press brake equipment to bend, form, and shape metal components according to engineering specifications and quality standards.

The ideal Press Brake Operator has strong mechanical aptitude, experience working with fabrication equipment, and the ability to produce accurate, high-quality parts in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Required Experience & Skills
High School Diploma or equivalent required
1 3 years of press brake or metal fabrication experience preferred
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work orders
Knowledge of measuring tools including calipers, micrometers, and tape measures
Strong attention to detail and precision
Basic math and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Reliable attendance and strong work ethic REQUIRED
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Set up and operate press brake machines to bend, form, and shape metal components
Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and technical specifications
Select proper tooling, dies, and machine settings for each production run
Measure and inspect finished parts to verify quality and dimensional accuracy
Perform routine machine maintenance and troubleshooting as needed
Adjust machine controls to improve production efficiency and product quality
Follow production schedules and meet manufacturing deadlines
Maintain a clean, organized, and safety-focused work environment
Follow all company safety procedures and production standards
Collaborate with supervisors and team members to optimize workflow and productivity
Preferred Qualifications
Experience operating CNC press brake equipment such as Amada, Cincinnati, or similar machines
Familiarity with metal fabrication processes and materials
Understanding of manufacturing tolerances and quality control standards
Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting abilities
Physical Requirements
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
Ability to stand, bend, and move throughout the shift
Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment with exposure to heat, noise, and fabrication equipment
