Pay Rate: $18.00 - $21.25+ per hour ($18/hr. base pay + $2.25 shift differential + $1.00 lead differential) Depending on experience

Schedule: Monday - Wednesday (6:30 PM - 6:30 AM) + Thursdays (6:30 PM - 12:30 AM)

Job Duties

• Continuously build relationships throughout the department to best serve and support co-workers and employees.
• Ensure the department has the tools and resources to keep other departments informed of any delays or changes in scheduled arrival times of products required by the department.
• Provide leadership to Extrusion department team members.
• Participate in the interviewing and selection process for department openings as needed.
• Apply continuous improvement techniques to improve department operations.
• Partner with various managers and teams to continuously analyze and ensure the quality of aluminum extrusions meets company standards.
• Review and analyze department data and trends to make continuous improvement recommendations.
• Keep work area clean and orderly using the 5S system (standardize, sustain, sort, set in order, and shine).

What You Will Do

As a Press Operator Lead you will support daily manufacturing operations by assembling products, operating production equipment, inspecting finished goods, packaging materials, maintaining production standards, and following established work instructions. You will help keep production areas clean and organized, monitor product quality, meet production goals, and contribute to safe, efficient manufacturing operations.

A Press Operator Lead contributes to manufacturing by performing a variety of production responsibilities that support efficient operations and quality products. This position requires adaptability, attention to detail, and the ability to work safely throughout every shift.

The Press Operator Lead supports manufacturing through product assembly, inspection, packaging, material handling, and adherence to production procedures while maintaining quality and workplace safety.
