Qualified Staffing is currently hiring Press Operators for our client, a foam fabricating plant located in New Albany, IN, and we want you!Schedule:Monday – Friday
1st Shift: 6: 30 AM – 4: 30 PM
3rd Shift: 8: 30 PM – 6: 30 AM (training on 1st shift required)Pay: $16/hr
Position Summary:The Press Operator is responsible for operating press machines and assisting in the production of foam products. This role involves assembling, packing, and loading materials while ensuring efficiency and minimal waste in a production environment.Responsibilities:- Assemble, pack, and load materials for production
- Operate press machines to manufacture foam coolers
- Monitor production to minimize waste and maintain efficiency
- Meet daily production quotas and company standards
- Follow all safety and operational procedures
Qualifications:- Ability to read basic blueprints
- Ability to measure accurately using tape measures, protractors, and calipers
- Mechanically inclined preferred
- Dependable with strong time management skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
