Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Previous press operation or manufacturing experience preferred
• Basic computer and data entry skills
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
• Strong attention to detail and communication skills
• Ability to stay organized and manage production workflow
• Frequent bending, stooping, stretching, and prolonged standing
• Continuous lifting up to 25 lbs; occasional lifting up to 40 lbs
• Hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity required

Job Duties

• Operate automatic, transfer, and robotic stamping presses
• Set up jobs using daily production schedules and setup sheets in Plex
• Enter production data, including downtime, scrap activity, and inventory transactions
• Perform required quality inspections and report defects
• Follow packaging instructions and escalate missing instructions to the supervisor
• Communicate equipment or tooling issues to supervisors and the quality department

What You Will Do

As a Press Operator you will operate, monitor, adjust, and maintain manufacturing equipment to produce quality products according to production schedules and established procedures. You will inspect finished products, replenish materials, identify equipment issues, perform routine machine checks, maintain production records, and support safe, efficient manufacturing operations.

A Press Operator helps produce quality products through the safe and efficient operation of manufacturing equipment. This role requires strong work habits, mechanical ability, and a commitment to maintaining production and quality standards.

The Press Operator combines equipment operation, product inspection, troubleshooting, and process monitoring to support successful manufacturing while following established production procedures.
