Schedule: (1st Shift | 7 AM - 3 PM) (2nd Shift | 3 PM - 11 PM)

Press Operator Requirements

• 6 months of die cutting or press operator experience
• Able to lift 35 lbs.
• Experience operating digital printing or production equipment preferred.
• Knowledge of RIP software and digital print workflows.
• Basic computer skills and proficiency with production reporting systems.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting abilities.
• Ability to read work orders, production schedules, and follow written and verbal instructions.
• Basic math skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to stand, bend, stoop, and move throughout the shift.
• Strong color vision and quality inspection skills.
• Team-oriented mindset with the ability to work effectively across departments and support continuous improvement initiatives.

Job Duties

• Review work orders, specifications, and special instructions to prepare materials for production.
• Set up, operate, troubleshoot, and maintain UV digital presses throughout production runs.
• Process and RIP digital files using print production software.
• Perform quality inspections on proofs and finished products before release to customers.
• Accurately record production results, maintenance activities, and related documentation using a PC or tablet.
• Conduct preventive maintenance, troubleshoot equipment issues, and perform corrective actions to maximize machine performance.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment while following company safety procedures.
• Collaborate with team members to solve problems, improve processes, reduce waste, and support departmental goals.
• Assist with housekeeping, material handling, and other duties as assigned.

As a Press Operator you will support daily manufacturing operations by assembling products, operating production equipment, inspecting finished goods, packaging materials, maintaining production standards, and following established work instructions. You will help keep production areas clean and organized, monitor product quality, meet production goals, and contribute to safe, efficient manufacturing operations.
