Press Operator (Entry-Level or Experienced)
Job Summary
We are seeking dependable Press Operators to support production operations. This position is open to both entry-level candidates who are eager to learn and experienced operators. Press Operators are responsible for safely operating press equipment, maintaining quality standards, and supporting efficient production in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up, operate, and monitor press machines according to specifications
- Load materials and remove finished products from the press
- Inspect parts for quality and report any defects or equipment issues
- Follow all safety procedures and production guidelines
- Perform basic troubleshooting and routine machine checks
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Work with team members and supervisors to meet production goals
Schedule & Training
- Primary shift: 2nd Shift, 3:00 PM – 1:00 AM
- Schedule may be 4 ten-hour days or 5 eight-hour days, so flexibility is required
- Training will take place on 1st Shift:5:00 AM – 3:00 PM
Qualifications
- Entry-level candidates welcome; prior press or manufacturing experience preferred
- Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn
- Strong attention to detail and quality
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
Pay Rate
- $19.00 – $25.00 per hour, based on experience
