Description

Parallel Employment Group is hiring a Press Setup Machine Operator for a long-term temporary opportunity with a manufacturing company in Racine, WI.

Location: Racine, WIShift: 1st Shift | Monday–Thursday; 6:30am-5pm, NO WORK FRIDAYSPay: $17.00/hourPosition Type: Long-Term Temporary

We are looking for a dependable, mechanically inclined individual to join a growing manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for setting up production presses, monitoring machine performance, and ensuring products meet quality standards throughout each production run.

Responsibilities

  • Install dies, fixtures, and tooling into production presses.
  • Position materials and prepare presses for production.
  • Adjust machine settings before and during production runs.
  • Reference production samples and work instructions to ensure quality standards are met.
  • Perform minor press repairs and routine machine maintenance.
  • Move materials throughout the production area as needed.
  • Inspect finished products for quality and accuracy.
  • Complete production paperwork and required recordkeeping.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
  • Follow all company safety policies and procedures.

Qualifications

  • Previous manufacturing or machine operation experience preferred.
  • Mechanical aptitude and basic troubleshooting skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and quality.
  • Ability to read and follow work instructions.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift materials as needed.
  • Dependable attendance and a strong work ethic.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Must be able to make basic measurements using rulers or calipers.
