Pressroom Operator

Aegis is partnered with a well-established printing and packaging manufacturer that specializes in producing high-quality printed materials. They are currently looking to add an experienced Press Operator to their production team.

This is a hands-on role responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining printing presses while ensuring products meet quality standards and customer specifications.

Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate printing presses according to job specifications and production schedules

• Monitor print runs and make adjustments to maintain print quality, alignment, and consistency

• Troubleshoot mechanical and printing issues to minimize downtime

• Perform routine maintenance, cleaning, and adjustments on press equipment

• Read and interpret work orders, production specifications, and job instructions

• Inspect finished materials and maintain accurate production records

• Collaborate with production teams to meet deadlines and improve efficiency

• Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean work environment

Requirements:

• 2+ years of printing press operating experience

• Strong knowledge of printing press setup, operation, and maintenance

• Experience troubleshooting mechanical and print quality issues

• Ability to read job orders and production specifications

• Comfortable using measuring tools to verify print quality and alignment

• Strong attention to detail and mechanical aptitude

• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment

• High school diploma or GED required
