About the shop
Join a well-established industrial fabrication team in Brusly focused on building pressure vessels and piping systems to spec. You’ll work in a fast-paced pipe and vessel fabrication environment where safety, quality, and efficiency guide every decision.
What you’ll do
- Execute TIG, Stick, and Flux-Cored welding, with TIG comprising approximately 50% of your workload
- Weld nickel alloy and carbon steel components to applicable codes and specifications
- Complete all-position welds (1G–6G) including rollout applications
- Read and interpret isometric drawings, blueprints, and weld symbols for fabrication and fit-up
- Build and repair pressure vessels and piping systems while maintaining strict quality and safety protocols
Required qualifications
- Track record as a Combo Welder with strong TIG proficiency (about 50% of duties)
- Experience welding nickel alloys and carbon steel
- All-position welding proficiency, including rollouts
- Knowledge of pipe welding practices and techniques
- Background in a pipe shop or vessel fabrication shop
Preferred
- Experience in pressure vessel fabrication
- Understanding of relevant codes and standards; ASME exposure is a plus
- Detail-oriented, quality-driven, dependable, and safety-conscious
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
