Preventative Maintenance Mechanic 1st Shift | $20-$26/hr DOE

Location: Hastings, NE
Shift: Monday-Friday | 7: 00 AM-4: 00 PM + overtime as needed
Job Type: Temp-to-Hire

Associated Staffing is hiring a skilled Preventative Maintenance Mechanic for a manufacturing facility in Hastings, NE. This hands-on role is ideal for someone with strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting experience who enjoys solving problems and keeping equipment running efficiently.

In this role, you ll perform preventative maintenance, diagnostics, troubleshooting and repairs on CNC machines, hydraulic systems, test equipment, ovens, blowers, molding equipment and more. Experience with electrical systems, relay logic, drives, PLCs and industrial maintenance is highly preferred.

Responsibilities include:
Troubleshoot and repair CNC machines, hydraulic systems and manufacturing equipment
Diagnose electrical issues involving servo drives, motors, switches, transformers and relay logic
Install and troubleshoot panel views, HMIs, AC/DC drives and machine controls
Repair ovens, blowers, fans, processed water systems and valve testing equipment
Read blueprints and specifications to complete maintenance projects
Use precision measuring tools, voltmeters, ammeters and testing equipment
Layout and install conduit, piping and other maintenance components
Assist with additional maintenance and repair projects as needed

Qualifications:
3-5 years of industrial maintenance or manufacturing experience preferred
Technical training in electrical maintenance is a plus
Experience troubleshooting mechanical and electrical systems
Knowledge of PLCs, machine controls, hydraulics, pneumatics and 3-phase electrical systems preferred
Ability to read blueprints and work independently
HS Diploma/GED required
