Preventive Maintenance Technician – CNC:Aurora, IL
We are seeking an experienced Preventive Maintenance Technician to support the reliability, performance, and uptime of CNC machine tools.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on CNC lathes, mills, machining centers, and 5-axis machines.
- Inspect, maintain, and repair spindles, ball screws, tool changers, lubrication systems, hydraulics, and coolant systems.
- Troubleshoot mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical issues.
- Perform machine alignment and accuracy verification using precision measuring equipment.
- Identify and replace worn components to help prevent unexpected downtime.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and work orders using CMMs.
- Assist with machine installations, relocations, and startup activities.
- Follow all safety procedures, including lockout/tagout requirements.
Skills & Experience:
- Education: High school diploma or GED, required; technical training in industrial maintenance, mechatronics, or related preferred
- Experience: 3+ years of CNC maintenance working on lathes, mills, and 5-axis equipment, required
- Knowledge: Fanuc, Siemens, Mazak, Haas, Okuma, or similar controlsrequired
- Skills: strong troubleshooting and root-cause analysis, required

Pay: $70,000 - $90,000/year
Type: Full-time, 1st Shift, On-site
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 6:45 a.m. – 4:15 p.m.
