Prevention Educator
CAPSA is a nonprofit organization providing confidential support to individuals affected by domestic violence and sexual abuse across Cache Valley and the Bear Lake area. In addition to response services, CAPSA focuses on prevention-working with youth and the community to reduce violence before it starts.
We are hiring a Prevention Educator to deliver engaging, age-appropriate presentations in schools and community settings. This role is centered on helping young people build healthy relationships, strengthen social-emotional skills, and make informed decisions. The work is highly relational and community-based, with a strong focus on creating meaningful, lasting impact.
This position is well-suited for someone who is creative, comfortable speaking in front of groups, and able to connect with a wide range of audiences. Spanish language skills are helpful but not required.
What the role involves:
The schedule requires flexibility to meet school and community needs, along with independent planning and coordination.
This role offers the opportunity to do work that is both immediate and long-term in impact. Each presentation, relationship, and conversation contributes to building safer communities and equipping youth with the skills to prevent violence. If you are motivated by purpose-driven work, value meaningful community engagement, and want to see the direct results of your efforts over time, this is a role where your work will matter.
