Job Title: Preventive Maintenance Assistant Technician
Work Location: Fair Lawn, New Jersey - 07410
Duration: 12 Months
Job Type: Temporary Assignment
Work Type: Onsite
Shift Time: Monday - Friday 11 PM - 7 AM EST
Job Description:
- Be able to organize the Preventive Maintenance group, schedule work, and manage overtime as a back-up to the Group Leader.
- Must be able to document PM activities.
- Repairing vacuum system, leak checking, process gas system, and gas cabinet. Diagnose faulty equipment safely and effectively.
- Put health, safety, and quality first. Put forward a behavior appropriate and conducive to a healthy and safe work environment.
- Actively participate in personnel training required to improve individual performance.
- Work shift rotation (first, second, third, fourth and fifth), staggered weekend shifts and a reasonable amount of overtime as required.
- Follow approved standard operating procedure & safety procedures.
- Trouble shoots faulty equipment.
Skills:
- Good communication, teamwork and organizational skills are essential.
- Effectively manages multiple priorities with high quality expectations in a team-based environment.
- Ability to follow safety guidelines.Use of power tools and light machining equipment.
- Positive and assertive job attitude, self-motivated, independent worker with the ability to learn.
- Mechanically inclined.
Education:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent and 2 years of relevant experience
