Pay Rate: Starting at $20.00 per hour
Position OverviewWe are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Temporary Infusion Pump Preventative Maintenance Technician to support operations at Baptist Floyd Hospital. This position will be responsible for performing scheduled preventative maintenance on infusion pumps using digital maintenance software. The ideal candidate is comfortable working with technology, follows detailed procedures, and can work independently in a hospital environment.Key Responsibilities
- Perform preventative maintenance checks on infusion pumps according to established guidelines and procedures.
- Utilize digital software systems to document maintenance activities and equipment status.
- Inspect equipment for proper operation and identify any issues requiring attention.
- Maintain accurate records and complete required documentation.
- Follow hospital safety procedures, infection control guidelines, and workplace policies.
- Work professionally and respectfully in a healthcare setting.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Strong computer skills and the ability to learn and navigate digital software systems.
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and complete repetitive tasks accurately.
- Reliable work history demonstrating dependability and consistent attendance.
- Must provide an updated resume.
- Must pass a clear background check.
- Must successfully complete a 10-panel drug screen.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- No heavy lifting required.
Work Environment & Dress CodeThis position is located in a hospital setting and requires professionalism at all times. Employees must follow the assigned dress code:
- Khaki pants and a polo shirt, or
- Hospital-approved scrubs
