Job Title: Loader/Unloader Material Handler (2nd Shift)

Hourly Rate: $19.20 per hour
Shift: 2nd Shift – Starting at 3:00 PM
Job Description:
We are looking for a dedicated and hardworking Loader/Unloader Material Handler to join our team in Carson, CA. In this role, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient loading and unloading of materials in a warehouse setting. You must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and handle physical tasks with care and attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely load and unload materials and products from trucks and containers.
- Transport materials to designated areas within the warehouse.
- Inspect materials for damage or discrepancies and report any issues.
- Operate warehouse equipment, such as pallet jacks, forklifts, and hand trucks, as needed.
- Ensure proper handling and storage of materials to maintain a safe work environment.
- Maintain organization of the warehouse and keep the area clean and clutter-free.
- Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to minimize risks and ensure safety.
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet operational goals.
Requirements:
- Must have steel-toe boots as required for safety.
- Previous experience in material handling, loading, or unloading is preferred but not required.
- Ability to lift and carry heavy materials (up to 50 lbs).
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions.
- Reliable transportation to and from the workplace.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication skills.
