Overview:

The Pricing Analyst is responsible for compiling, organizing and preparing pricing
information to support internal business units. The Pricing Analyst will work on
projects such as Customer RFP’s, development of pricing tools and data
warehousing. 

Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for being job specific system expert in the department and to
    the user base.
  • Be able to evaluate job specific system process and
    functionality and make recommendations for improvements to the solution.
  • Communicate with various stakeholders to problem solve and correct
    process/operational issues
  • Develops recommendations based on analyses in order to promote
    informed decision making on pricing decisions and methods
  •  Develop utilizations for WebFocus (NFIs Enterprise BI Tool), and various
    other NFI systems and processes;
  •  Assists in defining system scope and objectives, researching and fact-
    finding, analyzing business and uses analysis to drive cost modeling
  •  Supports and executes administrative functions throughout the customer
    RFP lifecycle
  •  Exercise good judgment, stays focused on results, and drives change in
    existing pricing process.
  •  Creates Data Models that diagram or illustrate the relationships between
    data and wins/losses in the sales cycle that are price-centric.
  • Decompose high-level information into details.
  • Ad-hoc reporting utilizing the various data sources and systems in the
    department.
Qualifications:
  • BS/BA in Information Systems, Computer Science or equivalent
    experience
  • Computer applications experience with, Information Builders WebFocus,
    3PL Logistics, Transportation Management Systems a plus
  •  Basic PC / Networking knowledge
  •  Proficient in all aspects of Microsoft Office
  • Advanced MS Excel / MS Access VBA knowledge
  • Strong interpersonal skills-including strong verbal, written communication
    skills and excellent listening skills
  • Ability to interact with individuals at all organizational levels
  • Exceptional organizational skills
  • Must be proactive and able to work independently

We are excited to share that the base salary range for this position is $53,000.00 - 75,000.00.  NFI takes into consideration applicants' qualifications, experience, education, and geographic location when determining a starting rate of pay.
