Pricing Analyst (CHA)-370154 Chattanooga, TN

Job Description POSITION SCOPE:

The Pricing Analyst plays a key role in developing and supporting LTL pricing strategies at XGS. This role requires prior LTL experience and focuses on evaluating bid opportunities, supporting volume and spot pricing requests, and analyzing pricing performance to ensure alignment with company revenue and strategic objectives.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Analyze and respond to LTL Requests for Proposals (RFPs), developing pricing strategies and models for new and existing customers that support profitability and long-term growth.

Provide timely LTL spot quotes to internal and external customers; communicate effectively with sales teams and customers via phone and email.

Build queries and extract data to support pricing analysis, account reviews, and strategic decision-making.

Review customer accounts to assess the effectiveness of pricing strategies and identify opportunities to improve margins.

Research and resolve billing discrepancies by collaborating with internal teams and external customers.

Support additional pricing-related initiatives and projects as assigned. Job Requirements PREREQUISITE KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND EDUCATION:

Prior LTL pricing experience (required).

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other standard office applications.

Working knowledge of SQL or other programming/query languages preferred.

AS400 experience preferred.

Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

Ability to multi-task, work under pressure and meet deadlines with minimal supervision

Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and be able to readily adapt to change

ENVIRONMENT

Most work is conducted in a comfortable office environment but exposure to site conditions may also occur. Personal protective equipment must be worn in all areas as required. Although the work usually is not considered inherently dangerous, must be careful while performing onsite services.
