Job Summary

Data driven pricing analyst with experience in quote generation, analyzing pricing trends, profitability, and market conditions to support strategic business decisions. Skilled in excel-based modeling, competitive analysis, forecasting, and translating complex data into actionable insights that improve revenue and margin performances.

Job Duties

Prepare, review, and approve pricing quotes based on company pricing strategy and margin targets. Analyze pricing data, sales trends, margins, and customer purchasing behavior. Partner with Sales and Product teams to provide competitive and accurate pricing recommendations. Identify opportunities to improve revenue, margins, and pricing consistency. Support quote reviews, contract pricing, and discount approvals. Balance customer needs or values with expected product demand to maximize revenue, market share or profit margin. Model pricing adjustments to predict the impact of pricing changes on organizational performance. May provide customized pricing to the sales team. Complete all necessary documents fully and accurately. Adhere to 5S standards (e.g., maintain cleanliness of work area, etc.). Follow all Safety, Environmental and Quality policies and procedures. Perform other duties as assigned.

Experience and Education

Perform work under minimal supervision. Pricing analyst experience. Analyze large datasets. Handle complex issues and problems and refer only the most complex issues to higher-level staff. Possess comprehensive knowledge of subject matter. Provide leadership, coaching and/or mentoring to a subordinate group. Typically require a bachelor's degree and 2 to 4 years of experience.

Competencies/ Skills

Intermediate verbal and written communication skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Proficient in Microsoft Excel. Detail oriented. Ability to meet deadlines.
