    Description

    hybrid schedule: Monday through Friday 8:00-5:00 PM (Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday onsite)

    The Pricing Analyst will be responsible for significant value to the business through the following activities:
    • Acts as primary contact for pricing systems and tools used within the business and Product Lines. Considered an expert and/or developer of specific pricing processes, approaches, and tools.
    • Utilizes comprehensive knowledge of best pricing practices and procedures to optimize value for multiple products or sites, and create moderately complex analyses of the data.
    • Participates on cross-functional product line teams in follow-up, investigation, and documentation of internal and external nonconformances, root causes and corrective actions as well as continued improvement opportunities.
    • Creates, implements and executes on measures to improve on customer profitability, as well as action plans to improve the value creation on line and customized product offerings.
    • Accountable for executing pricing adjustments to regional and national product offerings with varying intervals as required by the product line pricing strategy.
    • Acts as the primary owner of all published location, regional, and national pricelists for assigned products, product lines, or as needed.
    • May participate in selection of employees and provide input on plans for future team needs.
    • May provide informal coaching and/or training to pricing analysts and other cross functional teammates, including coaching Cargill core values.

    Required Qualifications
    • Bachelor's degree, preferably in a Business, Finance, Economics or Agriculture related field
    • 2 years related professional experience
    • Fluent in Microsoft Excel (VBA preferred)
    • Ability to interpret and work with data to provide analysis
    • Proven experience working in cross functional environments
    • Excellent time management, prioritization and organizational skills
    • Strong collaboration skills, and ability to work effectively within a process-honoring organization
    • Communication: strong verbal, written, and presentation skills

    Preferred Qualifications
    • Tableau experience
    • Agriculture industry experience
    • Previous pricing experience for Retail, Client, Consulting Providers
