This position offers the chance to work in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment that's constantly evolving.ResponsibilitiesDevelop, construct, and guide enterprise strategic decisions around pricing, sales and profit optimization, data governance, business rules, pricing exceptions, training, and process efficiency for all Divisions, Banners and StoresCreate Pricing Strategies, CPI Targets & Goals, Category & Item Roles, Price Area recommendations, Promotion optimization, and other KPI metrics/reports with clear and concise communication to Division and Senior leadershipLeverage category financial levers including sales, markdowns, funding, and profitability as inputs to our pricing strategyUtilize and embed customer shopping behaviors, customer segmentation, category & item strategies, and key business drivers as inputs to our pricing strategyProvide Pricing recommendations & Insights to Senior Leadership, Division teams, and Pricing Managers including developing period, quarterly and annual Pricing SLT, AOP, BOD, and ER documentsManage & oversee price optimization software and tool selection (Base & Promotion Pricing), data management & testing, deployment, training & change management, and process improvement to improve company financial performance (sales, profit, unit improvement) and customer price perceptionPerform and execute complex business analyses and projects from concept to completion to drive sales & profits, business efficiencies, including data‑driven insights that lead to tangible business benefitsLead & manage large data‑related pricing projects, collaborating with cross‑functional departments to develop and implement improved reporting and data processesDevelop and implement recommendations for continuous process and system improvements, including identifying ways to automate analyses and processesOwn, manage and maintain Pricing Master Data including OB‑NB, brand and size relationships, competitor relationships, product match and linking, and item grouping (NCRC)Own & manage relationship with Competitive Intelligence vendor across all divisions including vendor selection and management, data validation, product linking, and system expansionContinually evaluate competitors and marketplace dynamics to assess the impact on our business and develop related pricing strategy recommendationsPartner with senior leadership and division leadership teams to develop business initiatives to drive enterprise value and related pricing implications. Anticipate marketplace events and develop "what‑if" scenarios to address changing business dynamicsCollaborate and partner with 3rd Party vendors and consulting firms on strategic initiativesBuild a strong partnership and collaboration with stakeholders across the organization, consulting on how to attain their business goals by leveraging data and insightsDesign reports and executive summaries and work closely with cross‑functional teams to clearly and concisely communicate analytical findings/recommendations to key stakeholdersAssist Legal and Real Estate teams with Pricing related research and analyticsQualificationsBachelor's degree in business administration, Economics, Marketing, Finance, Statistics, or equivalent experience2 plus years of Category experience recommended5 plus years of Pricing related experience preferred5 plus years of Analytical and, or financial experienceExcellent computer skills including the Microsoft Office Suite+Experience with SQL preferred, Snowflake and Python idealAdept with Business Intelligence tools including report developmentAbility to synthesize and summarize large amounts of information clearly and conciselyAct as a change agent who can gain consensus and influence actionHigh degree of initiative; must be able to work independently and be a team playerStrong organizational skills with the ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks simultaneouslyExcellent oral and written communication skills including training and change managementDocumented and trained different aspects of pricing and processes desiredTravel RequirementsApproximately 30% across all Divisions and geography.BenefitsCompetitive wages paid weeklyAccess to up to 50% of your earned wages before payday, via our partnership with StreamAssociate discountsHealth and financial well‑being benefits for eligible associates (Medical, Dental, 401k and more!)Time off (vacation, holidays, sick pay).
