Overview of the Position:


The Pricing and Quoting Analyst is responsible for executing the Pricing strategy for our business and is the champion of price as a key profit-driver for the company. The position is responsible for the development and implementation of the pricing and quoting strategy


 


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:



  • Creating daily customer quotes and pricing for most basic contracts.

  • Ensure all data in Quantum is accurate and up to date at all times.



  • Actively participate in ad-hoc and strategic customer pricing strategies and tactics for applicable aviation market segments regarding current and new product offerings.

  • Collaborate with senior management to implement new pricing initiatives.

  • Assist with reports and data extraction when needed; analyze large amounts of information to discover trends and patterns and present information using data visualization techniques.



  • Identify routable LRU's to support contracts.

  • Propose and facilitate continuous improvements within the position and associated tasks.

  • Works under direct supervision.

  • Other reporting and/or tasks may be added as necessary.

  • Computer Skills: Basic skills in use of Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point and company ERP system.





Education / Experience Requirements: Minimum of 3 years of related experience in purchasing position or on the shop floor or some combination of education and experience is possible. High School or equivalent is required. Associates/Bachelor's degree, preferred.
