Pricing Specialist

Job Summary

As a Pricing Specialist at DHL Express Caribbean, you will play a pivotal role in shaping pricing strategies to drive profitability and enhance our competitive position in the Caribbean market. Your core responsibility will involve formulating and implementing effective pricing models, conducting market research to identify opportunities, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to optimize revenue. With your strong analytical skills and market insights, you will ensure that DHL remains at the forefront of pricing excellence in the region.

Key Tasks

• Develop and implement pricing strategies tailored to the Caribbean market while considering regional economic factors and competition.
• Continuously review and adjust pricing models to maximize revenue while maintaining customer satisfaction.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Marketing, and Finance, to align pricing strategies with business goals.
• Assist in developing customized pricing solutions for local decision accounts and support the Sales team in the negotiation of pricing agreements.
• Keep abreast of industry pricing trends and competitor strategies to inform DHL"s pricing decisions.

Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business or equivalent in work experience on Finance, or related field.
• Minimum of 6 years of experience in pricing, strong understanding of pricing, sales, and finance processes
• Experience with pricing systems and tools. (enterprise platforms or equivalent) Familiarity with DHL systems (GRE, G-SMART, GSRT, STELLAR) is an advantage
• Strong data analytical capabilities with the ability to translate data into actionable insights
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Proficiency in data analysis tools (Excel, Access, Powerbi).
• Excellent project management skills, with the ability to lead multiple initiatives concurrently.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficiency in English (written and spoken) required for effective collaboration with cross functions stakeholders
