    Natchaug Hospital is seeking a Primary Care Family Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to provide physical exams and medical consultations for inpatient children, adolescents, adults, and residential teenage girls.  Assessments include taking histories, performing physical examinations and ordering and interpreting laboratory tests/data. In addition, patient education will be provided in a group setting. The nurse practitioner or physician assistant will provide quality, holistic care for patients, families and others in the behavioral health arena.

    Qualifications


    Qualifications:

    • Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant licensed or eligible to be licensed in the State of CT
    • Experience or interest working with behavioral health patients
    • 1+ years' experience in a primary care and/or behavioral health psychiatric setting
