Primary Care - Board Certified Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant

Job Summary:

The Board Certified Family Practice Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant will provide primary health care services to patients under the general supervision of the Chief Medical Officer at the Community Health Center. The incumbent will play a key role in delivering high-quality care to the patient population by working collaboratively with the medical staff.

Qualifications:

• Board certification as a Family Practice Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant.
• Current license to practice as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in the state.
• Strong knowledge and experience in providing primary health care services.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with patients and medical staff.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a healthcare setting.
• Commitment to maintaining professionalism, punctuality, regular attendance, cooperation, organization, and enthusiasm in all duties.

Responsibilities:

• Provide primary health care services to patients, including conducting examinations, diagnosing illnesses, prescribing medications, and developing treatment plans.
• Collaborate with the Chief Medical Officer and other healthcare providers to ensure coordinated and comprehensive patient care.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in compliance with regulatory standards.
• Educate patients on preventive health measures and promote wellness initiatives.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and continuing education programs to enhance clinical skills and knowledge.
