This hospital-based position focuses on caring for medically complex adult patients across the Emergency Department, Intensive Care Unit (ICU), and medical/surgical units.

Responsibilities
Perform comprehensive patient evaluations and follow-up visits
Manage medically complex adult patients with multiple chronic conditions
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
Coordinate care with physicians, specialists, nursing staff, and hospital teams
Educate patients and families regarding diagnosis, treatment, and ongoing care
Document patient encounters accurately within the electronic medical record
Participate in interdisciplinary rounds and quality improvement initiatives
Collaborate with care teams to ensure safe discharge planning and continuity of care
Qualifications
Active New Jersey Nurse Practitioner license
National board certification
DEA registration or eligibility
Minimum of two years of Nurse Practitioner experience preferred
Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently while collaborating within a multidisciplinary team
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in hospital medicine, internal medicine, family medicine, geriatrics, critical care, or management of medically complex patients
Experience caring for hospitalized adult patients
Bilingual skills are a plus
Compensation & Total Rewards
Competitive base salary: $130,000–$160,000 annually (open to discussion based on experience)
