Primary Care Physician - $50,000 Sign On Bonus

The Staff Pad has partnered with a mission -driven healthcare organization providing comprehensive primary care to underserved populations in Los Angeles, CA and we are looking to hire compassionate and patient -centered Primary Care Physicians (Internal & Family Medicine) to support organizational growth & meet community healthcare needs.<\/span><\/span>
<\/p>

Reporting directly to the Chief Medical Officer, you will deliver comprehensive primary care services, including preventive care, chronic disease management, screenings, immunizations, family planning, and patient education.<\/span><\/span>
<\/p>

Schedule: Full -Time | Part -Time | Per -Diem opportunities available | No call/rounding

Coverage: 5 days/week | 1 evening/week as needed | 2 Saturdays/month required<\/span><\/span><\/p>

What You’ll Do<\/span><\/span>
<\/p>

• Assess patients, order and interpret tests, and diagnose conditions<\/span><\/span>
  <\/li>
• Prescribe and administer treatments, medications, and vaccinations<\/span><\/span>
  <\/li>
• Educate patients on disease prevention, nutrition, and hygiene<\/span><\/span>
  <\/li>
• Perform procedures within scope of practice and refer patients to specialists as needed<\/span><\/span>
  <\/li>
• Provide follow -up care for high -risk and emergency cases<\/span><\/span>
  <\/li>
• Conduct physical exams for school, employment, and insurance requirements<\/span><\/span>
  <\/li>
• Provide Family Planning services in compliance with Title X regulations & review patient charts<\/span><\/span>
  <\/li>
• Provide prenatal and postnatal care (Family Planning position)<\/span><\/span>
  <\/li>
• Support organizational goals through patient, staff, and community engagement<\/span><\/span>
  <\/li>
• Supervise upto 4 Advanced Practice Practitioners and maintain required agreements<\/span><\/span>
  <\/li>
• Stay informed on policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements<\/span><\/span>
  <\/li>
• Support team communication, goal achievement, and process improvement initiatives<\/span><\/span>
  <\/li>
• Maintain accurate patient documentation and medical records<\/span><\/span>
  <\/li>
• Perform additional duties and grant -funded responsibilities as assigned<\/span><\/span>
  <\/li>
• Meet productivity goals of 25+ patients daily & provide clinic coverage, including evenings and 26 Saturdays annually<\/span><\/span>

  What We Are Looking For
  Qualifications<\/span><\/span><\/p>

  Required<\/span><\/span>
  <\/p>

  • MD or DO with Internal Medicine/Family Medicine Residency training<\/span><\/span>
    <\/li>
  • Active California Medical License and DEA reimbursement <\/span><\/span>
    <\/li>
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible (within 3 years of residency)<\/span><\/span>
    <\/li>
  • Relevant clinical experience within scope of training; new graduates encourage to apply<\/span><\/span>
    <\/li>
  • BLS and PALS certifications; HIV Certification preferred<\/span><\/span>
    <\/li>
  • Experience with EHR systems and basic computer skills<\/span><\/span>
    <\/li>
  • Reliable transportation and flexibility to travel between clinic sites.<\/span><\/span>
    <\/li>
  • Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed for community events<\/span><\/span>
    <\/li><\/ul>

    Maintain current licensures and certifications and provide verification upon request<\/span><\/span>
