Primary Care Nurse Practitioner Location Gales Ferry Connecticut Practice Gales Ferry Medical Group Schedule Work Week 4 days Monday - Friday Flexible Options Full-time 4 days per week or Part-time minimum 3 days per week Position Overview Gales Ferry Medical Group a trusted independent medical practice serving southeastern Connecticut since 1970 is seeking a Nurse Practitioner Family Nurse Practitioner or Adult-Gerontology Nurse Practitioner to join our team. The role involves providing comprehensive primary care services including sick and well visits and some gynecologic care to a diverse patient population. Key Responsibilities Setting Outpatient only Patient Volume 18-22 patients per day Conduct comprehensive patient assessments including routine sick and well visits. Provide gynecologic care as part of primary care services. Diagnose and manage acute and chronic conditions with evidence-based treatment plans. Promote preventive care and health maintenance strategies tailored to patient needs. Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality coordinated care. Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with healthcare standards. Qualifications Certification Family Nurse Practitioner FNP or Adult-Gerontology Nurse Practitioner AGNP Active Nurse Practitioner license in Connecticut or eligibility to obtain one. Minimum of 1-2 years of primary care or outpatient experience required . Strong communication skills and a commitment to patient-centered care.
