    Job Description

    Primary Care Physician (Outpatient Practice)

    Location: Greater Atlanta Area

    Job Type: Full-Time | Permanent | On-Site

Schedule: Outpatient Practice Hours | Light Shared Phone Coverage

An established, physician-focused medical group in northern Metro Atlanta is seeking an experienced Board Certified Primary Care Physician (Family Medicine or Internal Medicine) to join a premier outpatient clinic.

This opportunity is designed for clinicians who thrive in a patient-first, unhurried practice environment. Stepping directly into a dedicated care pod with an established patient intake, you will lead a collaborative team—including health coaches, behavioral health specialists, dietitians, and care coordinators—delivering personalized, preventive care without the pressures of traditional volume-driven medicine.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Deliver comprehensive, relationship-focused outpatient medical care with an emphasis on disease prevention, lifestyle medicine, and long-term wellness
    • Assume leadership of an active clinical pod and manage care for a dedicated intake of patients
    • Direct care workflows alongside dedicated on-site nursing and administrative support staff
    • Participate in an equitable, low-volume after-hours phone triage schedule shared among group colleagues
    • Coordinate patient care across an integrated multidisciplinary network, including clinical specialists, health coaches, and integrative medicine professionals
    • Maintain thorough, accurate medical record documentation in compliance with clinical quality standards
    • Build lasting patient partnerships through extended visit times and individualized care planning

    Qualifications:

    • Graduate of an accredited U.S. medical school (MD or DO)
    • Board Certified in General Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
    • Active, unrestricted Georgia Medical License required (or active state license eligible for immediate state endorsement)
    • 5 to 20 years of direct outpatient primary care experience required
    • Strong commitment to relationship-based medicine, patient advocacy, health optimization, and preventive clinical outcomes

    Benefits Package:

    • Competitive Compensation: Robust base compensation structure with long-term earnings stability
    • Generous Paid Time Off: 4 weeks of PTO annually with unlimited rollover, plus 7 paid holidays and 3 floating holidays per year
    • Dedicated Specialty Leaves: Separate allocated paid hours for jury duty, bereavement, and community service
    • CME Support & Time Off: $3,250 annual CME allowance plus 1 week of dedicated CME time off per year (unused CME time can roll over up to 80 hours)
    • Retirement Planning: 401(k) plan with a 4% employer matching contribution
    • Comprehensive Health & Insurance: Top-tier Health, Dental, Vision, Life, and Supplemental insurance options, along with a Flexible Spending Account (FSA)
    • Malpractice Protection: Fully covered medical malpractice insurance policy
    • Exclusive Membership Perks: Complimentary practice memberships for the physician, spouse, and dependent children under 18, plus discounted membership rates for parents
    • Dedicated Operational Support: Full administrative and clinical pod resources, maximizing time spent with patients in a supportive, team-oriented culture

Note on Compensation: Final base salary and total compensation terms will be determined during the interview process based on candidate background, clinical expertise, and overall alignment with department models. Contact us for details.

Note on Hiring Requirements: All offers are strictly contingent upon the successful completion of standard pre-employment credentialing, Georgia state medical board verification, active DEA confirmation, and background checks.

Note on Employment Status: The benefits package detailed above is explicitly offered for full-time employment status.
