Primary Care Physician - Outpatient Resident Preceptor Compensation and Benefits Salary: $250,000 – $275,000

Position Summary Bridge the gap between clinical excellence and medical education. We are looking for a Board-Certified Internal Medicine Physician to serve as a cornerstone of our Graduate Medical Education (GME) program. In this role, you won't just manage a patient panel; you will actively mentor the next generation of doctors, modeling the highest standards of evidence-based primary care. Responsibilities Key Duties:
Clinical Instruction: Act as the attending supervisor for residents within the clinic, providing real-time guidance and case-based teaching.
Mentorship: Support the professional growth of residents by offering constructive feedback and fostering their clinical autonomy.
Direct Patient Care: Manage a comprehensive outpatient practice focusing on preventative health, chronic illness management, and acute visits.
Program Leadership: Partner with interdisciplinary teams to improve clinical outcomes and contribute to the evolution of our educational curriculum.
Qualifications Licenses and Certification:
Credentials: An MD or DO with an active, valid New York State Medical License.
Expertise: Must be Board Certified in Internal Medicine.
Skills:
Experience: Ideally, you have 2+ years of post-residency experience in a clinical setting.
Mindset: A strong desire to teach and a commitment to a patient-centered, academic-clinical environment.
