Job Summary:
We are seeking a Primary Therapist to join our team! As a Primary Therapist on the team, you will be handling a manageable caseload of clients looking to you for treatment and help to overcome a wide variety of co-occurring addiction and mental health issues. Your role will be responsible for providing both group and individual therapy, developing treatment plans, completing assessments, case management, completing documentation in a timely manner, and of course supporting clients in their healing and recovery journeys. The ideal candidate is compassionate, has excellent communication skills, and has experience working with people struggling with co-occurring Mental Health and SUD/AUD Disorders.

Responsibilities:
  • Handle a manageable caseload of clients
  • Identify core underlying issues that may be contributing to a history of substance abuse and issues of mental health
  • Create and implement treatment plans that fit each client 
  • Uplift and support clients, working with them and their families
Qualifications:
  • Minimum of a Master's Degree in related field (Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, etc)
  • At least 1+ years of experience providing direct clinical services in mental health or addiction treatment setting
  • Licensure or certification in appropriate therapy disciplines preferred
  • Experience in providing therapy and counseling in both group and 1:1 settings
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong compassionate outlook, with an upbeat and positive personality
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team setting
  • Prior experience working in a PHP/OP setting preferred
