    About the Organization

    Bright Path Behavioral Health is a Walpole, Massachusetts based treatment center providing dual diagnosis care to individuals and families across the state. As part of the Resilience Behavioral Health network, Bright Path offers a full continuum of structured, evidence-based programming, including Partial Hospitalization (PHP) and Intensive Outpatient (IOP) levels of care, with an emphasis on treating mental health and substance use conditions together.

    The Opportunity

    We are seeking a compassionate and clinically skilled Primary Therapist to join the Bright Path Behavioral Health team in Walpole, MA. This is a full-time, on-site role delivering individual and group therapy at the PHP/IOP level of care within a structured, supportive clinical environment. The ideal candidate brings strong clinical grounding, a genuine commitment to trauma-informed, person-centered care, and the interpersonal skills to build rapport with a diverse client population.

    What You'll Do

    • Conduct individual, group, and family therapy sessions using evidence-based treatment modalities
    • Develop, implement, and regularly update individualized treatment plans in collaboration with the treatment team
    • Complete clinical documentation, including progress notes, treatment plans, and discharge summaries, accurately and within required timeframes
    • Conduct comprehensive assessments, including biopsychosocial evaluations, risk assessments, and diagnostic formulations
    • Provide crisis intervention and risk management services, including safety planning and de-escalation as needed
    • Collaborate with psychiatrists, medical providers, case managers, and behavioral health technicians to ensure integrated and effective patient care
    • Engage patients and families in treatment planning and provide psychoeducation regarding mental health conditions, coping skills, and wellness strategies
    • Ensure compliance with facility policies, accreditation standards, and legal and ethical guidelines, including HIPAA and confidentiality requirements
    • Maintain knowledge of and adhere to workplace violence prevention and drug-free workplace policies
    • Participate in clinical supervision, staff meetings, and ongoing training to support professional development and maintain current clinical best practices
    • Assist with discharge planning by coordinating referrals, aftercare services, and community resource connections
    • Support quality improvement initiatives and contribute to program development efforts as needed
    • Perform other duties as assigned by clinical leadership to support patient care

    Requirements

    Required:

    • Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field
    • Licensed or license-eligible in Massachusetts (LMHC, LICSW, LCSW, LMFT, or LPC-track, under board-approved supervision if license-eligible)
    • 1-2 years of relevant clinical experience
    • Experience providing individual and group counseling at the PHP/IOP level of care
    • Evidence-based and trauma-informed therapeutic approach, with knowledge of PTSD care
    • Strong clinical documentation skills and outcome data collection experience
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with strong interdisciplinary collaboration

    Preferred:

    • Full independent licensure in Massachusetts
    • Prior PHP/IOP or other structured group-based level-of-care experience
    • Experience with KIPU EMR
    • Dual diagnosis / co-occurring treatment experience
    • Experience with developmental disabilities and gender-affirming care
    • Familiarity with commercial payor documentation and medical-necessity standards
    • Training in Schema Therapy, EMDR, or other trauma-focused modalities

    Compensation and Schedule:

    • Salary: $62,000 - $80,000 annually, commensurate with experience (Exempt)
    • Schedule: Full-time, Days
    • Optional additional flat-rate shift pay: Night IOP ($100 per group facilitated), Saturday PHP ($100 per group facilitated)
