Compensation: $60k- $80k (Based on experience) Full-time

Join our dynamic team at Quadrant Health Group! Seaside Wellness of Palm Beach, a proud member of the Quadrant Health Group, is seeking a passionate and dedicated Primary Therapist to join our growing team. You will play a crucial role in empowering individuals to achieve their personal and therapeutic goals.

What You'll Do:

Under the supervision of the Clinical Director, the Primary Therapist is responsible for conducting comprehensive biopsychosocial assessments, developing individualized treatment plans, and facilitating individual, family, and group therapy sessions for clients experiencing a wide range of mental health and substance use challenges.

The ideal candidate is a fully licensed clinician who is proactive, collaborative, and experienced in working with interdisciplinary treatment teams. Candidates should have experience providing Psychiatric Mental Health (PMH) services, facilitating group therapy, and be available to work weekends and one evening each week based on program needs.

Primary Therapist Major Tasks, Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the daily treatment experience of each of his/her clients.
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
  • Provide appropriate treatment recommendations based on a review of the client’s history, signs, and symptoms.
  • Conduct individual, family, and group therapy sessions.
  • Conduct mental status examinations.
  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure integrated care.
  • Participate in team meetings and clinical supervision.
  • Adhere to ethical and legal standards of practice.
  • Provide crisis intervention including 5150 determinations. as needed.

What You'll Bring:

Primary Therapist Skills, Knowledge and Competencies:

  • Strong knowledge of current legal and ethical standards related to behavioral healthcare practice, reporting requirements, professional boundaries, and patient confidentiality.
  • Experience providing Psychiatric Mental Health (PMH) services within behavioral health, addiction treatment, or co-occurring treatment settings.
  • Demonstrated experience facilitating group therapy and psychoeducational groups.
  • Experience working collaboratively within an interdisciplinary treatment team.
  • Proactive, self-motivated, and solution-oriented approach to patient care and clinical collaboration.
  • Strong clinical assessment, diagnostic, and treatment planning skills.
  • Knowledge of evidence-based behavioral health treatment modalities.
  • Knowledge of the 12-Step philosophy and recovery models (AA, NA, CA, Al-Anon) preferred.
  • Working knowledge of applicable state regulations, accreditation standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Strong organizational, documentation, and time-management skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems and basic computer applications.

Primary Therapist Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Social Work (MSW), Marriage and Family Therapy (MFT), Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or a related behavioral health field.
  • Required: Current and unrestricted Florida license as an LCSW, LMHC, or LMFT.
  • Experience providing Psychiatric Mental Health (PMH) services preferred.
  • Experience facilitating individual, family, and group therapy.
  • Experience working with diverse populations in behavioral health and/or substance use disorder treatment settings.
  • Ability to work weekends and one evening each week based on program needs.
  • Current CPR and First Aid Certification (or ability to obtain upon hire).
  • Successful completion of all pre-employment requirements, including criminal background screening, drug screening, and required health screening.
