PayRate: $60.00-65.00/hr. on W2
Must-Have Requirements
- Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering or related field + 7 years relevant experience, OR Master’s + 5 years.
- 8+ years preferred electrical engineering experience.
- Strong mixed-signal electrical/hardware development experience:
- Analog & digital circuit design
- Circuit architecture
- Schematic capture
- Component selection
- PCB layout/reviews
- Design verification
- System integration
- Strong experience with OrCAD schematic/PCB tools.
- Hands-on laboratory equipment experience:
- Oscilloscope
- Multimeter
- Logic analyzer
- Spectrum analyzer
- Network analyzer
- Experience designing/testing/troubleshooting high-voltage systems up to ~5 kV.
- Strong electrical/system-level troubleshooting and root-cause analysis.
- Experience in a regulated industry, preferably medical devices.
- Knowledge of IEC 60601, including 60601-1, 60601-1-2 and/or 60601-2-2.
- Knowledge of ISO 13485, FDA requirements, risk management, and medical-device design controls.
Sustaining / Released Product Experience
Strong experience with:
- Sustaining engineering and released-product support
- ECOs / engineering changes
- Component obsolescence/EOL management
- Supplier-driven changes
- VAVE / cost reduction
- Manufacturing and field-quality issues
- Complaint investigations
- CAPA and nonconformances
- Impact/risk assessment and requalification/validation decisions
- Supplier and manufacturing issue resolution
