The Campbell County Board of Education is seeking a highly qualified, student-focused educational leader to serve as Principal at Jacksboro Elementary School. The successful candidate will provide instructional leadership, promote a positive school culture, support student achievement, and oversee the daily operations of the school.
Qualifications
- Valid Tennessee instructional leader license
- Successful teaching and/or administrative experience preferred
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to build positive relationships with students, staff, parents, and the community
- Knowledge of curriculum, instruction, assessment, and school improvement practices
Responsibilities
- Provide leadership for the overall instructional program and school operations
- Foster a safe, positive, and student-centered learning environment
- Support and evaluate faculty and staff performance
- Use data to guide school improvement and student achievement efforts
- Ensure compliance with district, state, and federal policies and procedures
- Promote effective communication with families and community stakeholders
- Manage school discipline, budgeting, scheduling, and daily operations
