The Mount Olive Township School District is seeking an exceptional instructional leader to serve as the next Principal of Mount Olive High School. Key Responsibilities Include:
- Building and sustaining a positive, inclusive, and supportive school climate and culture
- Supporting district strategic goals and fostering alignment across schools and departments
- Developing strong relationships with students, families, staff, and community stakeholders
- Ensuring effective school operations, communication, and organizational systems
- Promoting student achievement, belonging, engagement, and well-being
- Providing instructional leadership by conducting meaningful classroom observations, delivering actionable feedback and strengthening Tier 1 instruction
- Develop assistant principals, teacher leaders, department leaders, and emerging leaders through coaching, feedback, and meaningful leadership opportunities
- Leading collaborative structures, including PLCs
- Lead continuous school improvement efforts by aligning building goals with district priorities, monitoring progress, and fostering a culture of reflective practice
Qualifications:
- Valid New Jersey Principal Certificate or eligibility required
- Demonstrated successful leadership experience at the secondary level preferred
- Strong background in instructional leadership, supervision, and school culture development
- The ability to successfully complete a criminal history background check and provide proof of U.S. citizenship or legal resident alien status
- Current residency in New Jersey, approved residency waiver or agreement to obtain residency within one year of employment
Salary: $140,000-$210,000; commensurate with experience
