We are committed to delivering safe, reliable service that gets customers to their destinations on time–and we're looking to hire talented folks with a commitment to excellence to make it all possible.Roles and Responsibilities: Develops, coordinates and prepares NJ TRANSIT's annual zero-based consolidated Operating Budget for Bus Operations and Rail Operations to ensure adequate funding for all planned expenditures.Reviews and analyzes Bus Operations and Rail Operations monthly performance against budget, utilizes multiple databases to research details/explanations for variances, and provides recommendations regarding budget threats and solutions.Develops, manages and initiates reports for use by management and departments within the corporation. Researches, recommends and implements necessary data base modifications.Performs and supervises complex technical and financial analysis and special projects such as labor contract analysis, cost reduction programs, ridership trend analysis, and impact of capital program to assess potential financial/budgetary impacts and recommend and implement necessary data base modifications.Performs all related Operations Budget Office responsibilities relative to the eP position control system.
