The Principal Business Architect, within the Technology Organization, serves as a senior strategic advisor who bridges business strategy and execution by defining enterprise capability maps, value streams, and transformation roadmaps. This role operates as a trusted advisor to senior leadership, shaping business architecture direction and identifying opportunities to leverage capabilities to drive organizational outcomes.
The Principal Business Architect leads through influence, establishing frameworks, generating strategic insights, and creating actionable workstreams for the broader architecture team. This role ensures alignment between business strategy, operating maps, and technology investments while guiding the adoption of business architecture practices across the enterprise
Responsibilities:Bachelor's Degree and 10 years of experience in Application Development, Systems Engineering, or Information Technology management OR High School Diploma or GED and 14 years of experience in Application Development, Systems Engineering, or Information Technology management
Required Area of Experience: Strategic business architecture or enterprise planning; leading enterprise-level initiatives or transformation programs; stakeholder engagement at senior leadership levels
Preferred: Experience in the financial services sector; involvement in regulatory change, digital banking, or risk initiatives. Experience with business architecture frameworks (e.g. TOGAF, BIZBOK, BIAN)
