Principal, Business Intelligence Developer

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead the design, configuration, implementation, and support oftheSAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) Application for developing and supporting the planning and analytics functions.

• Lead the implementationand support of SAP’s Business Intelligence solutions.

• Leadall phases of the project life cycle including analysis, design, development, testing, deployment, and post-production support/maintenance.

• Assistin the development and enforcement of standards to provide best practices to deliver stable, reliable, andhighly availablesolutions.

• Produce and peer review technical designs andarchitecturefor development projects.

• Demonstrate effectivecollaborationandcommunication with internal team members and Business Partners.

• Coordinate project tasks and ensure accurate estimates are provided for completion of business solutions.

• Research and debug potential performance or other system anomalies. (i.e.,demonstratesuperior problem resolution)

• Create and compile technical documentation including unit, integration, acceptance test plans, support documentation,andend user documentation for delivered solutions and other tasks.

• Develop and enforce day-to-day support policies and procedures.

• Communicate status of projects and initiatives to management.

• Manage multiple projects/reporting solutions for multiple business areas.

TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES (Knowledge, Skills & Abilities)

• Demonstrates strongtechnical skills in SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC)

• Ableto work directly with business analysts to translate functional design into technicalspecifications.

• Able to grasp requirements quickly andanticipatepotential future requirements.

• Strong business process knowledge acrossFinance&Salesfunctional areas,withthe abilityto provide context to requirements.

• Excellent communication skills, oral and written includingthe abilityto conduct formal and informal presentations and workshops with the ability to communicate across all levels of the business.

• Advancedworking knowledge of SAP BI data modeling, data staging, data extraction, and logical/physical database design.

• Ableto recognize design dependencies betweenprojects and provide resolutions or plans to accommodate.

• Problem-solving skills related to SAP BW,SAP HANA,SAPBusiness Objects and Analysis for Office.

• Intermediate level working knowledge of Microsoft PowerBI.

• Advanced working knowledge of data cleansing, aggregating, transforming, andvalidatingdatato ensure accuracy and consistency.

• Demonstrate superior conceptual reasoning and discretionary judgment.

• In-depth knowledge of an SDLC process and ability to develop sound project plans.

• Workingknowledgeof SAP ABAP andresearching OSS, service packs, BW versions & plug-in information.

• Thorough working knowledge of upgrade processes and all aspects ofrelatedsystem testing.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or relatedsubjects, or equivalentadditionalwork experience.

• Minimum10yearsof SAP BIimplementation experiencewith at least 3 years of hands-on SAC experience.

• Courses or certifications in SAPSACsolutions preferred.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS / WORKENVIRONMENT(if applicable)

• Work is performed in a designated professional office workstation via hybrid work enviroment.

• Extensive use of office equipment to include computer and other business-related machines and software.

• Limitedtravel (10 %) may be.
